Europarlement stemt voor Jörg Asmussen als nieuw lid Raad van bestuur bij ECB (en)

Parliament on Thursday recommended Jörg Asmussen to succeed Jürgen Stark on the European Central Bank's Executive Board. He was given the first green light earlier this week by the Economic and Monetary Affairs Committee and his appointment will now be officially confirmed at the next European Council.
Mr Asmussen was recommended with 480 votes in favour, 69 against and 74 abstentions.
