The Council will meet at 11 a.m. on Monday 23 March 2009 and will be chaired by Mr Petr Gandalovic, Czech Minister of Agriculture.
The Council will have an exchange of views on the situation on the milk market.
Then the Council will hear presentations by Commissioner Fischer Boel and exchange preliminary views on a progress report “A simplified CAP for Europe – a progress for all” and on a report on the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in rural areas, respectively.
The Council will be invited to adopt a Universal Declaration on AnimalWelfare without discussion.
