Klimaatverandering: samenstelling van tijdelijke commissie in EP (en)

On 10 May, the European Parliament's plenary is due to adopt the composition of its new temporary committee on climate change. The 60-member strong committee will hold its constituent meeting on 21 May in Strasbourg.

The mandate of this committee (see link below) was approved by the Conference of Presidents (the EP political group leaders) on 19 April and confirmed by a plenary vote on 25 April. Subject to approval by its members, the committee is expected to be chaired by Guido Sacconi (PES, IT). Karl-Heinz Florenz (EPP-ED, DE) will draft the committee's report.
