Main Results of the Council
Today, the Council adopted:
-
-a joint action appointing Mr Erwan Fouéré as the new European Union special representative (EUSR) in the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia;
-
-a regulation laying down implementing measures for the common system of value added tax;
-
-a directive restricting the use of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in extender oils and tyres in the EU market, and a directive establishing a regulatory framework for reinsurance activities in the EU.
