Art expert Hoet passed away

DEN HAAG (PDC) - On February 27th, Jan Hoet passed away. Hoet was president of City Museum of Comtemporary Art in Gent. He served as the curator of the SMAK from 1975 until his retirement in 2003.
In 1998, the art expert held the 6th Europe Lecture. The theme of this lecture was 'Fine Arts in Europe'.
Hoet had been nursing health problems for some time. He was 77 years old.
