Seminar over vrouwenrechten en geweld tegen vrouwen (en)

A seminar for journalists on ways to combat violence against women, and EU legal instruments for this purpose, will be held in Parliament on Monday 15 March from 14.45h to 18.00h in room PHS 7C050, Brussels.

Chaired by Silvana Koch-Mehrin (ALDE, DE), EP Vice-President and President of the High Level Group on Gender Equality and Diversity, the seminar will be an opportunity for journalists to discuss this issue with MEPs and the EU's Spanish presidency. Speakers will include, Women's Rights and Gender Equality Committee chair Eva Britt Svensson, Spain's Minister for Equality Bibiana Aído Almagro, and the following guest speakers:
