EU Audit: Cohesion policy funds support to renewable energy generation - has it achieved good results?
European Court of Auditors (ECA) special reports are published throughout the year, presenting the results of selected audits of specific EU budgetary areas or management topics.
This special report (No 5/2014) entitled “Cohesion policy funds support to renewable energy generation - has it achieved good results?” assessed whether good results had been achieved by the two most important funding sources among EU spending programmes for promoting renewable energy - the European Regional Development Fund and the Cohesion Fund (Cohesion policy funds).
The main conclusions and recommendations of the report will be presented to the press by Mr Ladislav Balko (SK) the Member of the Court responsible for the report.
