Visit of Mr. José Manuel Barroso to the Court of Justice of the European Union

The President of the European Commission , Mr. José Manuel Barroso has today visited the Court of Justice of the European Union.

On this occasion, a round-table discussion was organised with, amongst others, Mr. Vassilios Skouris (President), Mr. Koen Lenaerts (Vice-President), Mr. Marc Jaeger (President of the General Court), Mr. Heikki Kanninen (Vice-President of the General Court), Mr. Sean van Raepenbusch (President of the Civil Service Tribunal) . This round-table discussion was mainly focused on issues related to the current challenges and perspectives of the European Union’s judicial system.
