Europese ministers van justitie komen vandaag samen voor een informele ministerrraad (en)

Minister of the Interior Ivan Langer and Minister of Justice Jirí Pospíšil welcome their counterparts from all EU Member States in the Prague Congress Centre on 15–16 January 2009.

The Informal Meeting of Ministers for Justice and Home Affairs will be spread over two days, one for each thematic area.

Today the Interior Ministers will meet to discuss, among other things, the use of modern technology for security purposes and safe use of modern technology.

Tomorrow, 16 January, the Justice Ministers will meet. They will primarily deal with the principle of mutual recognition in criminal matters and the future of family law.
